FCL & LCL Import Processes:

A Clear Guide for Buyers

At T-Win Textile, we streamline the import experience for both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Than Container Load (LCL) orders. Below, we break down each process to ensure clarity and efficiency.

1. Full Container Load (FCL) Process

For large-volume orders requiring an entire container.

Step 1: Inquiry & Quotation

  • You (Buyer): Submit an inquiry with:
    • Product details (specifications, quantity).
    • Destination port.
  • T-Win Team: Review your request, then send a quotation (e.g., FOB, CIF) and samples for approval.

Step 2: Confirmation & Payment

  • You: Approve product quality, price, payment terms, and packing.
  • T-Win Team: Issue a proforma invoice to finalize costs and payment details.
  • You: Pay the advance payment to initiate production.

Step 3: Production & Shipment Prep

  • T-Win Team:
    • Start manufacturing your order.
    • Book container space with a freight forwarder.
    • Prepare key documents:
      • Commercial Invoice
      • Packing List
      • Customs Declaration

Step 4: Freight & Delivery

  • Freight Forwarder: Arranges cargo loading and insurance (coordinated with T-Win).
  • T-Win Team:
    • Coordinates with the forwarder to release the container.
    • Send you the Bill of Lading (BL) and Certificate of Origin (CO).
  • You: Pay the balance once the goods arrive at the port.
  • Freight Forwarder: Assists with customs clearance and delivers the container.

    • 2. Less Than Container Load (LCL) Process

      For smaller orders (shared container space or express shipping).

      Step 1: Inquiry & Quotation

      • You (Buyer): Submit an inquiry with:
        • Product details (specifications, quantity).
        • Delivery address.
      • T-Win Team: Provide a quotation based on your requirements.

      Step 2: Confirmation & Full Payment

      • You: Approve product quality, price, payment terms, and packing.
      • T-Win Team: Issue a proforma invoice.
      • You: Pay 100% of the order value via:
        • PayPal
        • Western Union
        • Alibaba Trade Assurance
        • Bank transfer
          Submit payment proof to T-Win.

      Step 3: Production & Updates

      • T-Win Team:
        • Start production:
          • In-stock items: Ready in 3–4 days.
          • Custom orders: Ready in 5–7 days (if no stock).
        • Share production videos/photos for your review.

      Step 4: Shipping & Delivery

      We offer two LCL shipping options:

      Option A: International Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS)

      • Shipment: Your order is sent via express courier.
      • T-Win Team: Provide a tracking number.
      • You: Clear customs locally and await delivery.

      Option B: Sea/Air LCL (Consolidated Cargo)

      • T-Win Team:
        • Prepare documents (BL, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
        • Coordinate with a freight forwarder for consolidated shipping (shared container space).
      • Freight Forwarder: Clear customs and deliver the goods to your address.
